Salute to imaginary friends

 

Sherry Turkle (Sociologist) has found that people commonly create avatars (imaginary friends) so as to explore their options in a relatively safe environment.  Phew!  So I’m not going mad after all.  The Army of Ink are my imaginary friends brought to life by ink – and perhaps soon through animation.   I’m inspired by the constant stream of wisdom and strength that flows through the ink and admire their courage to speak out about all the injustice in the world and carry the banner for social change.  However, I must confess their footsteps aren’t always easy to follow, but I’m hoping if I keep following, one day soon…. I’ll be able to swim out to the seaweed!       Wooden doll from Artshed $3.50.
