Army of Ink #60

She forgot she could dance around the lounge room.
When you haven’t got anyone to play with – play by yourself. Mark it in your diary- on your fridge … “I MUST dance around the lounge room all by MYSELF.”
This ink has been sitting in my draw (without a story – until now). I’d been spending some time with a friend this week who is battling it out with cancer and was feeling/looking dreadful (all puffed up and sore with fluid) when I left her on Wednesday arvo. She text me later that evening with the message …”I’m dancing around the lounge room and it’s gone!” She’d been watching a show where a woman lost x amount of kilos by dancing around the lounge room which inspired her to move – and the fluid. A story for a story there. I admit, it’s something I do alot, alone - not for fat burning - for fun! And despite my friend’s circumstances, we’ve had alot together this week. So crank up the music and let the dancing begin … This one’s for you Fi x
